About Amanda
Over the past 23 years, I’ve seen so many sides of what it means to care for others. My journey started in nursing homes, where I offered a listening ear and a helping hand to older adults who often just needed someone to sit with them. From there, I spent time working with teens and adults who struggled with addiction, which opened my eyes to how deeply pain and hope can live side-by-side. I’ve also supported people with disabilities and families doing their best to support a loved one with developmental needs. Each story mattered. Each person taught me something new.
Being part of these different lives taught me how important it is to have real support—especially when the world feels upside down. Loss, change, grief, and those messy, in-between moments can leave anyone feeling lost. I’ve walked alongside people during heartbreak, big moves, and all the tough “what now?” chapters. The last few years have changed all of us. I get how hard it can be to face the unexpected, and how heavy those moments can feel.
What I know for sure is this: when you move through pain and let yourself feel it, you make space for something new. On the other side, there’s still hope—a chance to rewrite your story, find joy, or build a life that feels good to you.
I’m here for every step. My goal is to help you feel grounded, even when things are shaky. I want to give you comfort and help you find confidence as your life shifts. Whether you’re dealing with loss, change, or just trying to figure out what comes next, you don’t have to do it alone.
Think of me as your encourager—someone who believes in your ability to grow and heal. We’ll work together to face whatever comes, one step at a time. If you’re ready to move forward, I’m ready to walk with you.

CLIENT REVIEW
Amanda Labbé has been a compassionate and dependable voice in my time with her and ATX Mental Health.
Amanda Labbé has been a compassionate and dependable voice in my time with her and ATX Mental Health. She has helped me both during times of extreme distress as well as just working through the everyday parts of life that we all struggle with. She challenges me when I need it, but also just listens when I need to vent. I would recommend Amanda and ATX Mental Health to anyone.
Amanda, the human
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and running. I started running later in life and it has taught me that it is never too late to change your way of thinking or to start something new for yourself. Running inspires me to believe in what’s possible; for me, it was running the Austin and Houston marathons!
